Cindy increased the Mercedes speed, and moments later they reached the dirt road leading to Lily Granger's little home. She swung the silver sedan along it, gearing down. "What's the matter?" he asked.

"She's overheated," Cindy answered, knowledgeably. "We'll have to let her cool off for a few minutes."

"Nope. It'll be okay, once the engine cools. Come on, Eddie, we'll walk up to your house; I know a path through the trees. By the time we get your suit and walk back here, the car will be just fine again."
